NSS SURVEY

The National Student Survey (NSS) 2023Links to an external site. is aimed at level 5 foundation degree and level 6 degree students (excluding top ups) who are due to finish their programme between 1 February 2023 and 31 January 2024 . The NSS is your chance to feedback about your course experience so far at B&FC. Having your say will help future students choose their course, and also help B&FC shape our provision and student experience.

Thank you to every student and apprentice who has taken the time to complete the National Student Survey (NSS) so far.  If you haven't already completed the survey and would like to, you can complete the NSS up until 30 April. 


ENRICHMENT UPDATES 

NEW - British Sign Language – Sign up via our website.

Ever fancied learning British Sign Language? Now you can! 
BSL is used mainly by people who are Deaf or to support those who have a hearing loss and now B&FC are bringing basic BSL workshops to College, starting w/c Monday 13th March.

Don't forget to check out the Enrichment Hub to find out what other enrichment is available. But if there's still nothing you fancy, what about getting together with your friends and coming up with ideas to create something new.

International Women’s Day

For International Women's Day and beyond, let's all fully #EmbraceEquity. It’s time to get the world talking about why "equal opportunities are no longer enough." As part of this, the Students’ Union will be hosting stalls to celebrate and all students are welcome to attend.

Election Registration

The Students' Union Election 2023/24 is here! Now we are looking for the next leaders of our Union. It’s time to put yourself forward and lead the Student Voice at B&FC. We’re looking for our next Presidents and Vice Presidents of B&FC Students’ Union. Registration of interest closes 31/03/23.

International Women's Day

As part of the #ItStopsHere campaign, Blackpool Council is proudly organising an event in celebration of International Women’s Day. This public event will take place on Saturday 11 March from 10am to 4pm at the Winter Gardens.

Showtown 

Bang in the middle of Blackpool, the Showtown museum is an immersive experience that captures the spirit of this amazing town and will make you see it in a whole new light. Everyone is welcome to take part. Share your stories or participate in talks, tours, fun activities, useful courses, learning opportunities and academic study.
