Pride Month

The beginning of June marks the start of Pride celebrations, which honour years of civil rights fight and the continued quest of equal justice under the law for the LGBT+ community, as well as the accomplishments of LGBT+ individuals.  Find out more about Pride Month in our SU news article.

Corporation Board Member

The Corporation Board is ready for the next student representative to apply their knowledge, abilities, and experience to assist in setting our strategic direction and monitoring our performance, whilst witnessing first-hand the great impact that B&FC has on local communities and our students. Vote now to decide our next student board member.

Student Voice

You are the expert of your experience, and we want to know, what do/did you want to gain from your time at B&FC? Send your answer in a short video of you or write your answer on a piece of paper and take a selfie with it. Whether it is one word, or one paragraph, we want to hear what you have to say. Content can be sent to studentsunion@blackpool.ac.uk or via Teams to Carrie Lee, your video/image will only be used for a staff training event.

Alumni

World Environment Day

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on 5 June and encourages awareness and action for the protection of the environment. The theme this year is #BeatPlasticPollution. so we want to know, what action will you take?

Looking for a quiet study space? Did you know that Blackpool Central Library is now open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fleetwood Library is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
