LGBT+ Society
Here at Blackpool and The Fylde College we want to support all of our students. That is why our LGBT+ society is inclusive to all students regardless of race, religion, sexuality and gender identity.
The society promotes equality in all aspects and we also welcome non LGBT+ people who would like to act as allies to the LGBT+ society. By doing this, it will promote the society and get people to engage and learn about LGBT+ topics
The LGBT+ Society exists to promote LGBT+ equality within the student community and, where possible, on a wider scale. We strive to make all of our events and meetings ‘safe spaces’ – they are completely confidential, and we never publicise who attends without asking their permission. Respecting that safe space is our highest priority, as we want to ensure anyone coming into a meeting feels comfortable there.
